HR/Financial Administrator 2 (213PV3879)

The University of Cincinnati is currently accepting applications for a Financial Administrator 2. Duties for this position will include but are not limited to: prepare, issue, receive and process Payroll Exception Reports for Provost Office and Deans; review and approve time entries for hourly employees who utilize the Timekeeping System; lead contact for Time Keeping System within the Provost Office; review and act upon Position Requisitions submitted by the colleges/units via People Admin; review and act upon Hiring Proposals submitted by the colleges/units via People Admin; process Hiring Complete Requests received from the colleges/units for completed searches in People Admin; secondary point of contact for HR questions from Colleges/Units; review, investigate and approve/reject Personnel Change Requests (PCR's) in UCFlex; verify p-card charges for designated personnel from Provost areas; allocate p-cards for designated personnel from Provost areas; review ALL Provost Units University purchasing cards and address issues that may arise for internal and external audit purposes; verify and process expense reimbursements and change orders for POs. Create and analyze financial reports as requested; generating Purchase Orders for vendors.  

Job Description: Professional employees engaged in the day-to-day administration of specialized activities requiring training and on-the-job professional experience.  

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 1 year experience; OR associate's degree with 3 years experience; OR 5 years experience. Degree must be in a business related field. Related business experience is required.  

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a related business field with experience in HR processes as well as financial policies and procedures. This person will also have strong analytical skills that complement their strong oral and written communication skills.
