  1. General Statement of Duties:

Community Education Liaison in terms of registration, publications, scheduling of rooms, and new course numbering system

  • Process Immunization forms, including running reports to identify missing immunizations, sending correspondence, running detailed reports for Department of Health, restricting registration for students missing immunizations, and handling the imaging of documents and the record destruction in accordance to federal, state, and institutional guidelines and policies
  • Responsible for National Student Loan Clearing House submission issues including identifying and resolving the issues and resubmitting enrollment data
  • Process enrollment verification requests, including running statistical reports for long-range planning
  • Handle the electronic room scheduling software in scheduling rooms for the college community, including setting up resource 25 each semester, reviewing for accuracy, collaborating with various departments, maintaining the software updates, overseeing electronic correspondence, and working with the Colleges IT department to ensure technology efficiency
  • Assist in the annual production of three course schedule books.
  • Assist customers (students, faculty, staff, visitors) in person, by phone, via email, and/or fax and providing exceptional customer service, providing information on resources that will help students chart their path from the first day of college to the day they launch their career or transfer to a four-year institution
  • Answer phones and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Four years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in office work; of which at least one year must have been in an administrative capacity
  • Completion of an educational program may substitute for up to two years of the work experience requirement; knowledge and experience in standard office practices
  • Highly developed skills in Microsoft Office;
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; excellent organizational, interpersonal and customer-service skills
  • Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population.

Additional Information:

Shift: Monday Thursday 8:30a.m - 4:30p.m. & Friday 8:00a.m. 4:00p.m.

Salary: Weekly/$724.81 Annual/$37,690.12

Grade: 15 Step: 1
