Working Title: Office Assistant Lead - Dining/Eagle Card Business Office

Job Summary/Essential Functions: Under general supervision as a part of the Dining Services Business Office team, performs a variety of routine clerical duties such as processing documents and records, extracting and compiling records or data, responding to routine inquiries concerning office/departmental services and procedures, maintaining and monitoring established record keeping, filing and data base systems, and producing forms, letters, record entries and other material. Positions may perform data retrieval and modification and enter data on numberical or alphabetical data entry equipment. This position will manage the Dining Services time entry system, extract data and compile statistical data.

Conditions of Employment:

This position, during the course of university employment, will be involved in the receipt of, or accountability for, university funds or other items of value. The successful applicant will be required to pass a background check.

Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

This is an agency shop position.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED

Two years of clerical experience

Specific Position Requirements:

Understanding of Windows Operating System environments.

Ability to work in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.

Valid Driver's License and clean driving record

Two years of work experience in a customer service environment.

Additionally, candidates must offer a demonstrated high degree of interest, ability and/or experience promoting cultural competency or diversity

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Banner Enterprise System

Experience with POS [Point of Sale] System and cash handling

Experience with new hire documents

Experience with data entry

Experience with a time management software program
