Associate Vice President, Drexel Fund: Drexel University now seeks an Associate Vice President of the Drexel Fund to manage all aspects of a comprehensive annual fund program to meet current-use, restricted and unrestricted annual giving goals for the University. The Associate Vice President will be a results-oriented executive who will oversee the school and college Annual Giving programs, the University wide Faculty and Professional Staff "Why I Give" campaign, the Reunion Giving Program, Senior Class Giving Program and assist with the annual trustee solicitation. The Associate Vice Presidents major responsibilities include creating and implementing a comprehensive, strategic, data-driven, integrated plan to maximize annual fund contributions university-wide. The Associate Vice President will deploy sophisictated marketing skills in the development strategies to significantly expand and enhance the use of social media for the delivery of targeted annual giving solicitations. He or she will lead an experienced, effective and dedicated team in identifying annual giving opportunities which comprises all gifts, from all segments, through multiple channels on an annual basis.

The Associate Vice President, Drexel Fund will be a member of the office of Institutional Advancement's Senior Management Team, which develops strategies to address the challenges and opportunities facing the division of Institutional Advancement. The Associate Vice President will report to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement and will coordinate his or her activities with other University administrators. He or she will supervise three fund raisers, three staff, one administrative assistant and have shared reporting responsibility of one Communications staff member.

Requirements: The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly experienced fundraising professional, with deep annual fund expertise and a proven ability to achieve goals in dollars raised, donor retention and participation. The successful candidate will be fluent in the application of data analytics and use of predictive modeling to build successful outcomes. The Associate Vice President will possess the stature and interpersonal skills to meaningfully engage and support the Universitys diverse leaders, alumni, students, volunteers, donors, and prospects in a manner that generates excitement, facilitates action, deepens commitment, and increases support. He or she will have the proven ability to strategically and effectively navigate within multifaceted organizational environments, ideally demonstrated through direct experience within a complex research university setting.
