Part-Time Testing Proctor

Position Number: AS84P

Mid Point Salary Range: $9.00/hour

Position Type: Non-Exempt Staff

Position Summary:
Provides assistance as needed in the Testing Center as a proctor and/or administrative support at the front counter.

Job Duties:

Administers the TSI Assessment; HESI Nursing exam, CLEP, Firefighter exams, NHA Nursing exams and paper/pencil departmental exams;
Checking in examinees for Pearson Vue Testing Services; Monitors testing rooms physically and visually to ensure test security compliance; Assist with Offsite Testing: ABE, GED and Dual Credit; Assist with front desk as needed; Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.



Minimum Education/Training/Experience:
Equivalent to graduation from high school AND two (2) years of general clerical or office support. Experience within an educational environment; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed below.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills:
Business arithmetic; The use of specified computer applications; Complex or technical office practices and procedures; record keeping practices; Applicable regulations, policies and statutes; Operating standard office equipment; Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
