Job Summary:
The Department of Economics at the University of Colorado Denver invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position starting in the fall semester of 2025. This position comes with responsibilities in teaching (40% of time), research (40% of time), and service (20% of time). The teaching load is 2/2 (four courses an academic year), at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

The CU Denver Economics department offers bachelor's and master's degrees in economics and master's and doctorate degrees in health economics. The typical teaching load is four courses per year, with a possible course release in the first year.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position has been established at $130,000 to $135,000.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.
