Job Description:


The Department of English at the University of Texas at El Paso seeks a tenure-track/tenured faculty member in African American Literature at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor. We seek an active scholar who will have the opportunity to teach undergraduate and graduate students in the department and in the university's interdisciplinary African American Studies program. Specialty within African American literature is open.



Requirements:


A Ph.D. in English, Comparative Literature, or African American Studies is required.
