Part-Time Faculty in Communication Arts

Position Summary
Part-Time Faculty in Communication Arts will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Communication Arts, such as, Computer Studies, Computer Literacy, Introduction to Mass Communications, Broadcast Journalism, Media Production, Computer Graphics, and Radio. This applicant pool will remain online and be used to hire interested part-time faculty as needed.

Essential Functions
Part-Time faculty prepare course outlines based on approved departmental syllabi. Prepare exams and assessments for assigned courses. Work collaboratively with departmental faculty to ensure standard curriculum outcomes are met. Perform other duties in the completion of the teaching and grading process.

Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.

Required Education
Bachelors degree in Communication or related field.

Required Work Experience


Preferred Qualifications
Professional experience in the field and/or teaching experience at the college level. Masters degree preferred.
