Mid Point Salary Range: $9.00/hour

Position Type: Non-Exempt Staff

Position Summary:
Provide Office assistance to TRIO Programs staff.

Job Duties:

Greeting & assisting students, staff and visitors on arrival and while conducting business in the office.
Answer and screen telephone calls in the absence of supervisor or secretarial personnel.
Transfer telephone calls to appropriate personnel or record appropriate message.
Receiving, sorting, preparing, distributing incoming & outgoing mail.
Faxing, Photocopying, Scanning, Filing
Sending emails
Assisting with events
Run work-related errands
Keep office area neat and tidy
Be productive in your work
Report to assigned supervisor at scheduled work times
Perform other tasks as may be assigned by supervisor



Minimum Education/Training/Experience:
High School Diploma or GE

Preferred Education/Training/Experience:
1 year office experience preferred.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills:
Have good organizational skills
Have problem solving abilities
Have good written and spoken skills
Be able to prioritize tasks
Be able to work under pressure
Have computer and Internet skills
Have numerical skills
