Position Description
Directs, plans, coordinates and supervises the operations and activities of a specialized unit or small department; develops and implements policies and procedures, administers the budget, organizes tasks and sets priorities. Serves as liaison with university personnel and community at large. Works under general supervision with broad latitude for initiative and independent judgement.

Major/Essential Functions

Appropriately and thoughtfully delegate video projects to members of the video team, ensuring tasks are aligned with project objectives and individual strengths.
Lead and guide development of stylized, original video content to promote Texas Techs brand and initiatives.
Participate in and lead video and audio shoots and in-field production.
Provide direction and support during post-production phase of content development.
Use a camera or audio equipment to capture elements required for video or podcast production.
Develop scripts for specified internal and external video and audio projects, including the university podcast Fearless.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related area required plus five years progressively responsible management experience. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading a team and coordinating production efforts with diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to innovate and bring fresh ideas to video storytelling initiatives.
